Well, I for one need to unroot for the OTA ICS update. I am still on .181... Does anyone know where to find the 1.6 utility? I'll never be able to update if that's the case..

The third download link works (filefactory), running at 400k without an accelerator. My files are broken anyway. I got a little too excited and stripped the Windows version to use for the Mac one. It's just a copy and paste job, but I would trust that link more than my batch of files, as I sometimes swap out SDK files based on how they react on a Mac. I always keep the old ones, but my naming system is sometimes a bit suspect.

Ran this first Gingerbread root(not for ICS)
Then i did option 1 to restore droid razr to 6.12.181 because i was on 6.11.744
all goes well till about halfway through the process. Phone is bricked, need to know what to do next?

Please note, cdrom and logo.bin tend to fail to flash. This is normal and OK. Won't affect the restore.

Yes, I am still on gingerbread. Motorola thinks my Razr has be rooted, but I never did it. The recovery screen shows qe 1/1 inmplying it is currently rooted, but no superuser files, etc. Based on my reading, I think I need to reflash 6.12.181 so I can get the OTA update to ICS.

My droid razr gets all the way to the install. Then I hit the volume buttons to see what its doing and at the very end it says, "assert failed: motorola.motoflash("/tmp/bp.img")
