Yes, this is 204, not 203.

HUGE warning to all who even consider this update. Like the 6.14.84.85 updates that have people stuck on them, this update will leave you stranded with no hope of ever going to anything else ever again, including gingerbread. Those evil and sad words aside...

This is to be applied over 6.12.181 if you dare...

If you are really brave you are on your own and this is in no way my responsibility if you choose to flash this.

Just want everyone to know and be aware of my experience.

I am new to the Droid Razr Maxx and couldnt upgrade and tried and tried and kept getting Android triangle with exclamation point and would reboor back into Gingerbread.

I uninstalled Bootstrap recovery application but didnt realize the removing the application didnt put things back to normal.

Once I actually deleted the recovery files and restored logwrapper, right after reboot, upgrade completed successfully.

Word. Loving these leaks... glad to know Moto is busy. Once we have a reliable method of upgrading from 84 I'll be all over that.

Thx for sharing Matt :)

Curious also if anyone has gotten from 84 to 203/204. I'm glad 84's stable and all but I'm ready for a fresh build...

Yeah the whole deal was sort of bizarre... Once the CM9/AOKP builds start pushing out I'm sure I won't care one way or another what build I am on.

Does anyone have the original tiny 204 build? Curious if this new one is actually just the same as 181->204 vs 181->203->204tiny. And if so, should those on 203 go find the tiny 204 or try to figure out how to get this new 204 over 203.

I shat my pants when it just turned off after the red M logo after installing this, because the update had aborted on Symlinks and Permissions. I got it into bootloader mode, and went into recovery, and it was ICS recovery. I installed it again, and it worked fine. I can't seem to get a signal, but this also happened on CM9. You have to wipe data. Is it possible to root 6.14.204 yet?
