Could I get a qucik tutor on installing this please?
I've done my droid x with the updates before,so do I go about this update in the same proscess?
I am on .181 and rooted. what else do I need for installed.?

Why is the file I just downloaded show Blur_Version.6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US ?

Same process but use the files you want to flash. Leaks newer than 79 will leave you stuck tho. Not sure about rooting after 204 is installed either.

No root for 204 for now...unless protected and regained properly..lost mine messing around ;-( otherwise its as sweet as it can be without root. Glad i was able to make some mods that didnt need root to continue.. bearable at moment..

Have you tried the ICS root method in the 1.6 utility?

Fastboot is the last reliable line of defense against soft bricked devices (bootloop without safestrap, unbootable system, corrupted recovery etc) that allows a user to flash a full stock image and wipe their entire device and return it to an out of the box state.

Not fastbootable in this context means you have no safety net. Very few and limited recovery options. The risks of an unrecoverable device are high on a build that is not compatible with our ultimate and most reliable form of recovery.

That's why there are threads and info for beginners. You shouldn't expect people to hold your hand. If you take a little time and do some research all your answers are on this site.

Just take some time to read some threads and do some research before flooding threads with "how do i do this" posts. That's all we're saying. In most respects it is just laziness because people do not want to take 10 minutes to read something.

To be honest I think the search feature in the forum isnt' very good. Every word has a 4 character minimum. Also when I search for build numbers like 6.16.203 it comes up empty. I end up using Google to search by doing site:droidrzr.com

First of all, I try to be helpful once and awhile, but mostly talk a lot of crap. Second, I wasn't responding to you directly. Last of all, you probably put more effort in responding to me and typing your first post than you did learning about what you were doing in the first place. So, grow up and pull up your pants... Otherwise, you got your answer...so lighten up. BTW, I was making an analogy...now you have a topic for your next post..."What is analogy...?"
