Stupid question but you cant go from the. 84 leak to this right? Only if you have. 181

I am runnimg this :) it runs 100% . All games and flash are working "where available " .

I protected root but it would not restore. I used the terminal way and after a reboot I regained root.

Were you on .84 before flashing? If so, how did you do it?

I've done my droid x with the updates before,so do I go about this update in the same proscess?
I am on .181 and rooted. what else do I need for installed.?
bootstrap,clockwork recovery,

Why is the file I just downloaded show Blur_Version.6.12.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US ?

I believe you follow the steps for the .84 leak.
That's how files are named. If you take 10 minutes to do some research you'll find this question all over this site as to why.

Okay when people first join this site, they should be prompted with a thread on the basics like how to perform a leak update, how to install a ROM, how to basic stuff so when people ask we can just say refer to the basics thread. Much much easier, lol. No offense to the guy I just replied to I have just heard that same post about a million times on the .203, .79, .84, .85 and now this post. Again I don't blame you for asking it is just hard for a noob to get an easy way to find info.
