FAQ:
No. This will not be fastbootable back to Gingerbread.
Just install it with Motorola Recovery. No need to get fancy, unless you really want to.

No love for 84->206? Bummer.
Still very cool for users on 79 or 85. Thx for sharing Matt!

When we found 84, 85 was on there just hours later. So no, 84 has no loveWait a sec... so this will upgrade peeps on 79/85 to 206? Without having to soft brick going to pseudo-181?

I guess I could've maybe been just a little bit impatient in flashing 84 lol I'll just use bspatch as soon as I get a second. I've had no down time in the last week... suuuucks. Thx again Matt, you da man!

Interesting that internally they're updating all their hardware to the .206 version. Makes a strong case for this version to end up being the official push when it comes
on April 4th er May 23rd er..Q2 2012........Yeah

Agreed. Though remaining cautiously skeptical.

So, do we need to be completely stock to do this & do you lose root during the upgrade. If root is lost, does Voodoo work for this? Also, do I need to get rid of bootstrap/safestrap first?
{We don't need no stinkin path, we have Batman}
Well the answer to at least one of these (no clue which one) was yes, cause I jumped all over this & soft bricked the hell out of my Maxx. I had to use Matt's UnstuckICS to fix it, but now I'm on 206 with root so I'm good.
