Well, I remember I bricked my phone on the earlier version of jellybean (the second revision) and used the utility to bring it back to the first release. Soo, you think its possible to do it again? Lol

Um.... no...... you can go ahead and try, but, you will likely end up in AP Fastboot with a "downgraded security" error..... and then need to use RSDlite or HouseofMoto and the latest FXZ file to get back up and running.......

You think there's gonna be an exploit for 98.18.94 within a month or so? Or they just gonna wait for kitkat, then make one..

Um, cause the "root fairy" doesn't work on old phones?  LOL!  Dan R, the guy who made the last exploit, quit.  JCase is looking at the HD but there's no guarantee he'll find an exploit.  He's busy with the X and the new Droids, too.  I don't get why people have this idea that root exploits just fall out of the sky....

Exploits are becoming harder and harder to achieve..... there may end up being an exploit made for it.... but it not going to come easy......

I didn't mean for that last one to mean that lol, I understand it takes time and patience for developers to make exploits, I was surprised, that's all

There's no guarantee at all that an exploit will be found.  As I said, it's an older phone and there's not a lot of interest in it by the root Gods.  Someone may root it, but, I wouldn't necessarily bet on it.

If I had $1 for how many times I've seen this question, well, I'd be a rich but frustrated man. ;)

Um.... no, it shouldn't be taking that long..... boot.IMG typically takes less than a minute.... try toggling the USB ....(unplug then plug back in)...... you will get errors but it may continue normally after.....

That's because you're using the wrong fastboot for your phone.  You need the snapdragon version.
