I got it installed it that time but im on. 208 but i need root.lol thats where im stuck

Use the unstuck utility to flash 85, root- then flash 208 again.

So go into fastboot use the. 85 in utility then use the root method in the 1.6 razr utility then go back in unstuck utility a with fast boot flash the. 208 img again?

Not sure if this is bad or not. I did this minus a step. I used the utility and after the screen with the android with the blue ball spinning I was like a hawk waiting and I rebooted into recovery as soon as the screen went black. Just updated from external where I have both the update zip and crc, and everything works fine for me. I probably don't use many features like other people do, but still. I guess I'm wondering if it's gonna mess something up long term skipping the flashing .img in the unstuck tool step?

I had a bunch of problems doing this, and come to find out the zip that i had wasn't the rite one, it is hard to tell because they are all named the same. If you are having errors when flasing the .208 you should check that the package is the 353MB package, that is the .208. You may have to remove the sd and put it in the computer and check it. For some reason when i deleted the old .203 zip and c file outa the download on the sd to replace it with the new .208, so i wouldn't get confused it didn't work and i spent 6 hours flashing in the sequence any way i could think. So i steped back and started from scratch, that is when i discovered that the files on the sd where zip@ 351MB and the crc, so i deleted the crc and overwright the .181 with the one here

This one doesn't have the crc extra, this is the one to use. Use Matts instructions, apfstboot 181 from the 1.6 utility and let it reboot and load with the green droid till it finishes then reenter apflsboot by holding the 3 buttons multiple times until it will do it, then flash the unstuck tool and shut it off and the 3 buttons again until you can get it to go to restore and use the zip file to load the 208. it will work if you have the rite file. If you are low on power don't worry this isn't hard, just crack the razr open, google instructions, and loosen the 2 screws connected to the battery connector, get any usb cable you have and cut the end off it and strip a little off the red and black cables. All you have to do is tuck the wires under the screws, under the washers on the top and plug that thing into a wall usb block or mayby a computer and no more bat low cannot program, very simple if you have a t-5 torx.Thanks Lgroff, made this all possible.

Thanks to everyone here, I got my root back. Make sure you wipe cashe/data after you flash back. That was were my problems were.

This is outdated. Droid RAZR Utility 1.8 came out a few hours ago. Download it to any Windows computer and use option 1 to fastboot to stock 211
