Changes from 6.16.206
- "Secure Network" option added in WiFi settings so you can be notified when a secure network is available
- Verizon remote diagnostics added (new?)
- A divider added to owner info settings
- Picture noise while zoomed in improved slightly
- Face unlock camera startup sped up even MORE (o___o, almost instant now)
- Size of lowercase keys in keyboard smaller
- Color of numbers on top row of keyboard changed to a tannish color (new?)
- Swype's "about -> Version" shows a newer build
- Could be hallucinating but it looks like something about the status bar is different... Can't put my finger on it tho.
- Preferred network mode recognizes and automatically updates if you choose options in Phone Info now
- People app has been MotoBLUR themed... looks good & is all useful!
- Chrome beta's epileptic cursor fixed... but now the cursor lags behind your finger. Ah well.
- Slideshow, Location, and Name Card were added to attachment options in texts
- The "This is a system application, are you sure you want to replace" dialog window seems to have text that runs out of the boundaries... The OK button doesn't even fit. Test by running Verizon Apps and updating when prompted
- There seems to be a lot more launcher redraws...
- WiFi connect (any network) trigger in Smart Actions works properly now
- Touch sounds revamped (have to turn on in settings)
- Skype removed from the "Video Calling" app's list...
- "What's new in email" prompt when opening email app, detailing major changes from GB
- New navigation dock
- Prompt for text messages to be read while in the dock.
- CAN'T DISABLE VERIZON'S "APPS" APP ANYMORE U.G.H.
- Pressing any hard button while in ChargeOnlyMode (sleep mode while on the charger) will turn the screen off.

I think that's it!

I like the upgraded navigation dock features. That and a few other items in your list have convinced me to make the leap from 206.

Only issue i had going from. 84 to 206 was couldn't get out off mass storage mode.....but i still got root with utility....getting ready to go to 208....anyone else have that issue on 206?

I have the same problem. I went from .206 to .208 and can not get out of mass storage either. I've tried all 3 mass storage modes and I have the 4.0.3 kernel flashed but the root batch won't recognize my device.

UPDATE: I got root but I had to manually boot via BP tools on each reboot from the ICS root utility...

I had to use the Rom Manager method to upgrade from 181 to 208.

Followed the steps from step 6 in the "Unstuck" thread and everything went smoothly!

you can still disable apps. You just have to go about it the back door way. Go to manage apps, find the app, and select disable. Earlier builds let you from the home screen and dropping it to the top.

You still can drag to the top as a shortcut to app info and then hit disable

Didn't realize what this post was saying, lol. I thought the quotation marks would clarify but I guess not. I was talking about Verizon's App store app, labelled "Apps" in the drawer.

Has anynody noticed that wifi is broken... Or is it just me? Tried wiping cache, dalvik, unfreezing all apps, rebooting a couple of times. Nothing worked. Can anybody lend me a hand?

Can someone please help me. I beleive I am doing this right. Download the two files zip and crc. Move both to Cache. Tap on Zip and select rom manager. Update starts to install gets about a third of the way done. then reboots back to gingerbread .181. I have tried a factory reset and that still didnt help. Any sugestions.
