ICS leak .79. Like the stock rooted rom but I want to run KOA AOPK and its killing me that nothing works. I tried changing every variable I can think of (even formatting emmc) and following the steps over and over.. after new download... after new download... I tried many different dates of the KOA, both AOPK and CM... as well as Black Widow ICS leak... nothing!!! it ALL loops at the cool looking boot splash while vibrating every 7-10 seconds... I sure with I could actually SEE what was loading like in Linux. I need help because I cant figure this out.

Should I deactivate SafeStrap and then unload it? Then try to switch to Bootstrap?

** I am running Linux at home. At work, I begrudgingly use Windows because I have to... but the ONLY good thing about that is I can use the tools from this post:
Install Any Ics Rom On 6.14.79

So tomorrow, I can use window apps if that is needed.

RSD back to .181 and retry everything.

1st .. Bootstrap NO. Bad news there.

2nd.. I went back to .181 using the Droid Razr Utility 1.60.
then rooted
then to ICS
then rooted
then safestrap
then activate
then reboot and enable
then wipe cashe and format, davilk, system...
install KOA AOPK and then the gapps-signed

STILL STUCK AT THE DAM# BOOT CLIP (can I say dam#? )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO??? I am about ready to throw this darn phone against the WALL!!! (not really, but that is how I feel!) '

Maybe I need to do a magic dance and invoke electronic spirits to help me save my phone??? Is it cursed???

Murphys law is hating on me now.

Maybe I need to try this:
From my computer, erase everything on my internal drive? Then start at .181 and do everything again? It isnt like I have some crazy different phone... it has to work. How do I get to the 1st square one? I thought using the razr tool 1.60 and going back to .181 would do it... but maybe it left the RED HERRING file(s) or whatever on there to be in the way later??? I am just guessing ... I have no idea actually.. but logically, I can see that situation as possible.

I give up. I am not back tracking ... until I know a reason that will give me different results.

Is there a different method I can use? I see all the great tools ... maybe, I hope, one of them is what I need.

You have to use ss b.c its 2nd init. Bootstrap isnt, so not everything will work on it. For ics leaks you need safestrap 2.0. If youre having problems make sure they arent listed under the not working section. You may alsonote that 75/79 stock are buggy (which is why there was no official ota for them). Also be sure to wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and format /system or use one wipe to rule them all before flashing.
