I'm on .181 myself. Already signed up for the soak test if and when it starts.

Unless u get busted again... LOL

I am on 181 waiting. As much as I want ICS, I would rather wait for OTA.

Why do soak tests need to be kept in the closet like a dirty secret?

I don't see the harm in people revealing that a soak test is coming up. At least that lets people know that Motorola is actively working on updating my phone. I would think it would be better to permit people to talk about the soak test in public forums than people leaking the OTA and it ruining a bunch of phones because of some unforeseen glitch. Take for example 6.14.84 (and newer) leak. If they would have been a bit more open about that they are developing ICS and the ability to downgrade to GB will likely be taken away, people might have heeded the warning and not been so crackflashin' happy.

Then again, we're talking about Android fanboys here. Getting the next update on their phone is like a drug addiction :-)

Ohhhh this has got me excited for what our genius devs can do with the REAL ICS!! Fully functional, and maybe some EXTRA features! Go DEVS!

I can foresee fingerprint scanners on our phones...not the razr, but probably in the next 1-2 years..we already have face scanning!

I rather have a retina scan. That be sweet.

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.

Psh. Cnet. There will be a soak before any OTA, and we'll be able to get said soak test onto our phones from any of the ICS we are on now.

No reason for anyone to stay on GB anymore.

The Android 4.0.4 update for the Motorola XOOM has begun to push to Verizon subscribers after reaching a small group of testers earlier in the week. The rollout will be staggered, which means some may have to wait longer than others to receive the new software version. The good news is that a trick first used to force the Android 4.0.4 update on the Samsung

also works with the XOOM.
To pull the update
  • navigate to Settings/Apps/All,
  • locate Google Services Framework,
  • force stop the application and press “Clear data,”
  • return to Settings and navigate to About phone/System update,
  • press “Check now.”
Your mileage may vary, but initial reports are that this trick should trigger the update. Let us know what you think in the comments below!

calm down...CALM DOWN!!!! DONT GET A BIG (tourettes guy)

I am sure when the ota comes this forum will be exploding with activity. When it does, you will know. There will probably be a gigantic post on the main droidrzr.com page from one of the mods. In the meantime...enjoy your leaks.

Hopefully when the OTA comes we can find ways for the people stuck on later leaks to go to the official one, if that is what they wish. I am staying on .79 leak just in case, so I can fastboot back to the .181. I will probably wait to confirm people have root, even though many people assure to me that voodoo's ota rootkeeper will save my root, if it isn't saved automatically.

So, I should be able to fastboot to .181, root, use OTA Rootkeeper to back up root, temp unroot and force update if it doesn't automatically start.
