Royally Screwed?

Best Answer cmh714 , 02 September 2013 - 03:02 PM

You can try and wipe cache and dalvik or you will need to use Matts utility: http://www.droidrzr....nux-all-in-one/

try holding the vol down button and then power, when the screen flickers, let go of power and that should put you into fastboot mode.

You can then hit power to power off, or use Matts utility and start over

I think I may have messed up bad, but i'm not sure. This was my first attempt at rooting my phone (probably my last), but it does absolutely nothing. I got root access, installed safestrap, backed up my OS. When I went to activate the ROM, and clear it (I guess there was no reason for that since I never had anything on it) I think I cleared the OS, which was 4.1.2. This didn't seem to promote a problem, because I could still boot into safestrap. So, I installed cm-10.1.2-spyder.zip, and gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip and it said successful, I clicked reboot system, the motorola circle came up, and then my screen went black for about 15 minutes with nothing happening, so I turned it off, the screen blinked a line on it, and now that's all that keeps happening.

You are a life saver! I didn't know how to log into fastboot mode. I thought my phone was doomed to be an expensive brick.
