Ummm....so yeah. I was umm using the HOM...I mean a friend of a friends neighbor was and I .. They were going to try and flash an fxz and ummm...well...yeah. Samsung and Moto firmware is different and well it didn't work.
They read the FAQ... I swear I did...I mean they said they did.

So i cant find a solid answer, and it may just be a dumb question.  Verizon Maxx 4.4.4 cant fxz to anything earlier huh?

Agreed. Give Sunshine a shot. It works on some 4.4.4 droids. It won't charge you the $25 if it doesn't work.

I tried sunshine, didnt work for me as I am not rooted, and towel root didnt work nor did anything else I can find and sunshines temp root didnt work, I dont know why verizon had to stop selling developer Maxx's

Did you reboot after towel root completed. I used towel root on latest Verizon update on G2 and it said it didn't need it, but supersu couldn't do squat till I rebooted.

I cant even download towel root, I click the lambda and it just makes windows keep popping up till it doesnt even show a number, and i let it go for awhile after that and still nothing, so i downloaded on comp and put on phone through usb and it doesnt show it in my downloads

Yeah, NVM I was going to the bathroom and decided to retry and towel root downloaded but told me my phone was not supported and restarted and tried again like 3 times
