But it installs without having to wipe the data on the phone Ill take it if you upload it :) At least as long as It works all that shold need to be done is to put it on teh root of the phone and then update. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Use mattlgroff's 1.7 thread to help you, has the update and stuff to help you with instructions..

They are so simple, an iPhone user can do it :-D

You should wipe anyways. It is a whole different system. If you don't wipe, don't be asking or comparing about bugs or problems you have. It's part of being a crack flasher, you flash something new, you reset up again. Not meaning to sound like a major jerk, but if you want simple go for an iPhone. That's just my opinion, but you can do as you please

Im not asking how to update to it I am well aware of the requirements for that. But with the OTA(which is essentially the same as the soak) you are not required to do this. This thread is talking about the soak and the upgrades people are getting, I was just wondering if someone could take the soak update.zip and upload it so that I may use it as well.

Thank you for checking that out for us. I logically knew the leak and the OTA were the same, but the skeptic in me just had to be proven.

After all they call Missouri the Show-Me State for a reason.

The root method works in Matt's v1.7 utility, so I don't think it matters.

Bizarre, during the official update there is actually a line that reads "deleting facebook cache folder..."

Got tired of waiting and updated using Matts Utility (1.7) and the leaked .211 and got the same... "deleting facebook cache folder..."

Your not required to do it on the leak either. It is highly recommended since it is a new system!!!! Whether its leak or OTA I would wipe...... Plus the LEAK is the SAME as OTA. They are the same file!!!!
Droid Razr upgraded to Maxx!!!
