I like to be able to make phone calls with my phone so it won't be a Samsung device.

I agree. The two most used things for a phone, even a smartphone is calling and texting. I want to be able to get the best signal with a quality radio. Blur or no blur, I trust Moto with their radios more than any other phone I've had. If I had to choose..

HD. No contest. IDGAFrenchHorn about the new S-Voice crap.

Couldn't agree more. First and foremost it is a phone and I need a signal when making a call.

Original iPhone. Hands down.

But if I couldn't have that then it would be the HD.

If the Razr HD was to have an unlocked bootloader it would be the phone to rule them all (: Blur doesn't bother me at all, you can hardly tell its there on the ICS update (even with the ugly icons) and if you flash a ROM, no blur at all.

Kind of a silly comparison. Comparing a announced product with a known availability to a unannounced product with a unknown availability. Why not compare the HD to the iphone 5 then?
But I would prefer the HD if it appears soon.

I think some people here might be bias being a motorola droid razr forum, lol. :) I would go with the HD!!! Moto builds good phones and I look for quality in a phone.

I bought a sgs3 pretty much for a investment. I burned my upgrade for it, since I will be paying full retail for my phones from here on out. I will sell my sgs3 and spare razr to buy a HD. So hands down if moto don't screw up the HD it will be ahead by a long shot compared to others. If anyone wants to sell a liver I will take it, I will probably need one in the future lmao

I am moto fanboy. However I will give the S3 a try. Samsung would have to have the radio fixed by now. The S3 will have developed support like no other phone in history, will make the nexus looked locked down. Think about it have already sold or have pre orders totalling over 11 million world wide. First and only phone on every major us carrier.

This is the first Android phone that can compete with Iphone for it accessories.

We are mostly all here because we like to mod our phones I assume. If so then as long as S3 has a radio that works in it then hands down will be the phone to get. I have never had good luck with Samsung but they could have a winner here and you know what moto will give you.

I am very disappointed with Motorola, the Droid RAZR is a great phone except for the fact that the bootloader is locked (I know Verizon is part to blame for that), the time it took to receive an official ICS update was outrageous and the fact they released the Droid RAZR MAXX within a few months of the Droid RAZR original is just agrivating. I honestly wish I would have waited for the Galaxy Nexus. If I purchased a new device today I would want the GSIII but only because the HTC One series is not available on Verizon. I have been very satisfied with my past HTC phones. (Past Devices: iPhone 3G, Original Droid, Evo 4G, Evo 3D 4G, Droid RAZR)
