So I got it booting just fine. I THINK it was a gapps issue.. Since switching to 4.4.2 gapps no issue booting.

A question... I have been away from the game for awhile, still running a 4.2.2 PacMAN ROM. I've tried flashing a couple of 4.4 ROMs, but I keep getting a Status 7 error. Is there something I'm missing? I completely wipe everything and format system...and it doesn't work. I keep having to restore an old backup.

I think you are on the nightly? Switch over to the stable rom, he fixed that in the latest update, 12-27

They'll get there. I think they changed their base and I'm sure that takes a while to get everything back up.

They will be at some. Point... Working on getting all devices building on the new base... Also we are looking for maintainers.

sorry guys if I'm being a complete noob but can i get detailed instructions on how to do this I don't wanna brick my phone cuz its the only one I have + I have never gotten this far into customizing my phone I am rooted but i think my bootloader is locked and kind of screwed up cuz when I power off and power on I always have a flash failure then I boot normally its fine. Thanks in advance

I'm having a problem with the screen brightness. Sometimes I unlock and I can't see anything its so dim. So I took auto brightness off and it still stays dim. I have to unlock relock and unlock before u can see it

We need more details than you gave us. What system version are you on? My system version is 98.30.1 and I saw a thread on android forums that said it would unlock the boot loader and replace the recovery. Obviously it did not unlock the boot loader and i think that it screwed up my recovery.

You can't unlock your bootloader on that system version, or the previous one. You can only get root. Your recovery is probably okay and the flash fail can easily be fixed by flashing something simple like a boot logo or animation. If that doesn't work, you'll need to FXZ back to stock and start over.
