Just went back to .215 today. Originally went from .215 back to .211 cause I though I had a radio issue, but turned out to be a tower issue in one part of town. I kept getting random reboots on .211, but never had them the entire time I was on .215. Going to stick with .215 until JB OTA launches, then I will fastboot back to .211 to take the OTA. I recommend staying on .215. Anyone else have random rebooting while on .211?

No random reboot issues for me on .211. .215 seemed to cause my battery to drain more quickly due to radio issues (even with hard resets & cache clears). I'm back on .211 until JB comes out.

Seemed opposite for me lol. I had horrible battery on .211 with a Maxx. I would get about 13 hours. I can get 18 with .215 with same usage. I did have a lot of reboots and hangs with .211. Just had it back a few days, so we will see how it goes. I hope JB is a big improvement over ICS. I like ICS, but the issues this release had were bad. Hopefully .215 stays good until JB drops.

Do you really think we're getting JB? They never even gave us the promised ICS bug fix update.

I do on a regular basis. Why? Problems? I've never had any.

I think he was trying to say his phone is randomly going into airplane mode, without him touching it. Not does anyone have problems using airplane mode.

I need some help with this one. I was on stock .211 and rooted with Matts utility. I had ss 3.05 installed but not active, when ever I started my phone it sarted normally. I uninstalled ss and unrooted using vodoo then installed this .215 leak. Except for the already mentioned off set error it went fine. I rebooted my phone and booted to the safestrap screen. i let it go and it booted fine, updated and now im on .215 in my about phone settings. I restarted my phone and came rightback to the ss screen. SS is not even installed on my system anymore. Other than using Matts utility again how do I get rid of ss?
Thanks

Exactly it puts itself into airplane mode without user intervention

How come the download, downloads as 6.16.211 and not .215? Is it really .211? I'm eager to upgrade to .215.

It is the way moto names their updates. They name it based on what build you are coming from. So yes, if it says 211 and your phone is on 211...go ahead and update.

Do I have to be rooted? Or can I do this with just a stock RAZR and use Droid utility?

No need to be rooted. Pure stick is good to go. No need for the utility either. Once the updated zip is on your sdcard, just go into stock recovery and flash the update.
