Hello Guys

I live in the UK and purchased a a maxx from latin america, i recently bricked it whilst trying to upgrade to ics and no other ROM for gingerbread would work apart from the latin american ones but why are the files different as the only diference I can think of is the american using CDMA?

is there any actual differnce in the user interface obviously apart form the language?

Good question, i have a RAZR XT910 i bought in Thailand, and just changed the language to English. I bought it unlocked as they come that way there.
Also, on the box it says WCDMA, but uses some GSM freqs that are used in the U.S. I am pretty sure i can use it there, i just have to use ATT or T-mobile prepaid SIM.
Dont know about the boot loader, but as i said it's unlocked already.
Also, I bought a Motorola Xoom WiFi only in Wa State, and it turned out to be a demo model from south america, but i was able to flash a U.S. OS to it(actually my friend did it but i watched).

Regards,
