Hello everyone. I have had a bad time recently using safestrap. This followed me from .173 to .181 to ICS 4.03. I followed everyones directions regarding installing SS... or SS_ICS_v2. But I was getting stuck during the boot video... no matter what ROM I was using.. and no matter what base system I was currently on.

I tried to delete EVERYTHING on my main partition but it wasnt as easy as going into gparted and formatting it (Linux familiarity). Probably is a way to do that too, I just dont know it.

BUT I can finally, thankfully say I found something that solved my problem. It was solved after buying BusyBox. Not sure if I can say which version I bought since it might be thought as spam??? It is the first one that came up. Hope that helps. The paid version has additional clean up and checks .... something that it fixed or removed solved my problem.

So I have flashed Full Throttle, USA Olympics and DualCore by Speedcore. I am back to where I should be.

Summery: My BusyBox was messed up somehow and this stopped SafeStrap from acting nice. And deleting from safestrap menu didnt remove the red herring. Its faulty pointer or link was somewhere that wasnt touched by usual methods.

You can comment about the specifics on any apps you have found useful, that is not discouraged. The only time it would be an issue is if you created threads simply with the intention of advertising it. The version by (Stephen) stericson is generally the best option. I make it regular practice to update Busybox/SU before changing ROMs. The Smart Install function of the free BusyBox by stericson has always handled everything I needed.

Thanks for the feedback, possibly someone else having an issue will be helped out by your experience.
