The 1st time I encountered this beta program was with my last and first droid phone and it was an LG Revolution and I used the beta 7 and it worked perfectly. so I stuck with it, yeah I was rooted with that phone as well. Gonna try the others but I know for a fact #9 don't work so well.

I hold strong in call of duty 360 syeong for hours on 9 beta and above. Device's?

the vz thing pops up in the notification bar for me when using beta 9, but i can still tether just fine

I have tried the SQL lite and the Wi-Fi tether apps both none of them will work it justs saying I have no connection but when I use USB it works just fine. I made sure all the settings are correct but nothing works. I really want Wi-Fi so I can hook up my Xbox to get updates. Any help is appreciated

Voice over data is only going to work if you are connected to wifi or 4g

just curious.. is the wifi tethering locked by your operator? i dont seem to have this problem..

mine even comes with an application named "Mobile Hotspot" which allows you to wifi tether..

Verizon and Moto have it setup on the XT912(Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX) that hotspot will not work unless a monthly fee is subscribed to. What Wireless Tethers app does for us is goes around that check and allows us to tether anyways.

We have the Mobile Hotspot app as well.

I hate it when operators do that.. In Malaysia, there are two types of operators.. both allows you to tether.. Ones charge you extra when you go over your limit.. By kb.. The other just slews you down to edge speed..

I actually pay for the hotspot app. But... that is because tethering my phone is my main internet source for my laptop/Xbox currently.

I pay for it also. I have unlimited data plus unlimited hotspot, so I figured I might as well pay for it and "keep it legal." I live in the Atlanta 4G area and get great reception of the 4G signal. I've had my Razr Maxx for 3 weeks and haven't lost the 4G signal once.

i just got the beta 9 patch for my razr maxx, i also have ulimited 4g ( old plan grandfathered in ) is that gonna pull on my unlimited right?

beta 11,set to RAZR and with the routing fix checked is working good.even better than the sql exploit.......for now

just rooted my Maxx tonight, got beta 11, set to RAZR, but not sure about the routing fix? Worked great, many thanks!

Hi Yall I am using wifi_tether_v3_1-beta11 and it works great is that what we are talking about here? Is the beta 9 a earlier version of this one or seomething else?

Has anyone tried pdanet with foxfi? This app works great for my ps3 and I. Simple and security enabled.

i don't understand... i tried the latest update to this app and then also tried beta9... i pushed it to my system/app folder on my razr and installed it, but i keep getting FC's. had to uninstall... any idea why?

*** update *** got it working! i found that i had to install it directly from where i moved it to (from my computer, i.e. internal memory). it would not work when i moved it to system/app and then tried to install. working well! thanks!

i downloaded it to my pc, then copyed it over to my sd, then when i went trough my files i just installed it that way and did the set up via the app. worked fine for me
