Today is the 4th birthday of Android ! This amazing OS was officially released on September 20th, 2008. It has come so far since then, completely dominating Apple's iOS. Where would you be without Android? Raise your glasses in respect to our little friend "Andy" and wish him a happy birthday!

So let's hear from the community! What was your first Android device? Did you come straight to Android or are you a refugee from Apple's iOS?

My first Android device was the DROID RAZR that this site was named after. I was excited to see the branding on my favorite flip phone come back and it convinces me to leave AT&T with an iPhone 4 to Verizon.

My first android was a Droid Incredible and I had an iTouch before it. Haven't looked back since.

My first android was a Droid Eris on Cupcake in Dec. of '09. Samsung Fascinate in 2010, Droid X2 in 2011, then upgrade to the Razr on 11/11/11.

My first device was HTC Incredible 2 on Verizon! Loved that thing. Prior to my first Android I just had basic phones, although I owned an iPod touch that met a watery end... The Motorola Razr flip phone was also my first cell phone, so it felt kind of cool having an upgraded version of my first cell phone . I actually went in to the store looking to buy an iPhone 4. The rep talked me in to Android, and I am forever in his debt.

My first device with Android was the Droid Incredible. Loved it, but still haven't broken my all time record of waiting 7 months to root it LOL. Had a Blackberry beforehand, it was alright, but I'm never looking toward another OS lol.

My first Android was the iconic Motorola Droid. Bought it at 6:59 on release day, LOL, before the store was technically open. I came from WinMo and had been using them since the early 2000's. I have had the D1, D2 global, Thunderbolt, Bionic and now the Razr Maxx. Just got the wife a RazrM too.

I also have an iPad and a Xoom and definitely prefer the Xoom.

I went from OG Droid Incredible to Droid X to Droid X2 to Droid 3 to Droid Bionic to Droid 4 to Droid Razr Maxx to HTC Rezound.

I got a Droid X shortly after it came out, then got the Razr when I had an upgrade. I had a LG flip phone before the X that I loved. IT was indestructible and got a week on a charge. I also have a first gen ipod touch that I jailbroke back in the day.
