Sorry for my list.
Loved my 6800 (and 6700 before that), thought they were awesome (especially ROM'd), but compared to what we have today, and even the OG Droid, they were absolute crap. LOL

Your definitely right. I modded and Rom'd the hell out of all my Winmo phones, and the real funny thing is. Those old HTC and Moto Windows Mobile/ce phones could, and still can do things that the iPhone can't. Lol. The only mobile O.S that is out now, and is capable of doing what Winmo could in terms of being able to do what you want with it and make it yours, Like Rooting, Romming, Themeing, Overclocking and so on goes, would be Android. I think my PPC6800 was released in'05 or'06 not sure, but it has wifi, Bluetooth, an I.R sensor (I used it as a remote for my T.V, lol.)Slide out keyboard, touchscreen, gps with google maps, free turn by turn nav apps on download.com,removable micro sd card,a whole boat load of apps from almost any download site on the net, not just 1 app store. All kinds of other cool things that people think Apple invented, the list goes on and on. I'm so thankful that Google came along with Android and finally created the O.S that M.S could've had many years ago, but they couldn't get they're heads outta they're behinds and innovate the ageing Winmo O.S. They waited until Apple and Google squashed them, then decided, Oh crap, looks like we should re-think our mobile O.S duhur hur! They actually made a pretty nice new O.S too but, I think it may have been a day late, and a dollar short. Seriously, they could've done better. Yea, before Android I was a Fan type person. Anyways, Thanks Google, for the great O.S, Now make all the carriers use AOSP with open bootloaders, and it would be perfect. Until then, you get a 9.999 out of a 10 for Android. Naa, I'm just playn', you get a 10!Loved my 6800 (and 6700 before that), thought they were awesome (especially ROM'd), but compared to what we have today, and even the OG Droid, they were absolute crap. LOL
Edit: Damn this is a long irrelevant post. My bad guys:).

Those are my exact thoughts. Palm had a good thing going with WebOS and MS now with WP8, but both are late to the game. I still hope HP keeps WebOS alive and releases it as an open source O.S as I think I've read somewhere.Agreed. You can thank Micro$oft (and Palm too for that matter) for starting the smart phones craze. To bad neither of them had the foresight to properly upgrade and maintain their OS's. I think WP8 is probably as good (or better?) an OS than Android or iOS, but they are so far behind the curve in the install base, I don't see how they can possibly catch up. I know they would have to really WOW me at this point, to get me away from Andy.

Wife has gone one step further and has Sammy gs3.
I often wonder why people look at Apple anymore.

Lol, I was the same way when I got my iPhone 4 after my X. My Boss had an iPhone for an few years and swore by it, so I decided to pick one up. (Paid full retail, Doh!) I was real disappointed with that phone, don't know why I even bought it. I already had an 4th gen iPod touch. Those phones are really reliable as far as just working, but that's where it ends. I was so bored with that thing that I wanted to kick my own behind for buying it, let alone at retail (About $800 @Vz for a 32 gig) Ouch!Envied my dad for his razor... then got a flip phone then another flip phone... then a terrible blackberry then a terrible droid eris... then a beautiful droid x then a gorgeous maxx man (oh ya I had a iPhone after my X but now that phone is just another ex lolol but seriously when I had a iphone I was like...so this is it?...)

Then, Adobe held a big conference announcing Flash for mobile and other devices, and that Android would be one of the OS's to have the new mobile Flash player. The Droid X was my first Android device when Flash became available for Android.
And I've never looked back.
