I am in an extended network that is part of through Verizon rural lte project and I'm supposed to have 4g on my phone. With the stock rom, I have the 4g signal but when I boot into killer bean, it keeps me on 3g and in extended network. Is there a fix for this or do I have to stay on stock rom to keep my 4g?

Confirm your network selection is set right. I had this happen and had to make an adjustment to mobile network in settings.
Network mode is what i adjusted. I now have 4g when i am in 4g area and 3g when I am not.

I made sure everything was right like before, but since it is extended 4G, I think that that is what is causing the issue.

Roaming enabled, cdma/lte Good to go

What finally worked for me was: LTE/CMDA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA

try that out. the phone will auto select which network it has best signal. I can watch mine signal on 4g get worse depending on my area until the phone switches to 3g. Then as soon as I walk outside... switches back to 3G.

I Updated To JB Stock When The Update Went Loud Then Got Pulled From Version. Can I Still Use My Installed custom ROM From My ICS Stock. And My Other Question Is Can I Install The Blue Theme?

My hunch would be no. You can always try... if it bricks no.. if it works yes.

Still didn't work, put me on roaming. Guess I'll stay on stock ICS for now

I believe they have different kernels, and trying to use an ICS ROM on JB will brick phone.

I wonder if unlocking my bootloader and flashing a custom kernel would help me run 4G on this ROM

I'm using the latest version of the FT JB rom and everything works great (MMS too!), but I'm having trouble recording any video higher than 352x288. I don't see anywhere in the stock camera to change video resolution (however I can change photo resolution). I downloaded a 3rd party video camcorder app and changed resolution there, but it reverts back to the low resolution automatically. Any ideas?
