that seems to be the trend for most ROMs, unfortunately.

I like aokp more then cm. Just so many tweaks you can do on aokp to change the look. It about perfect. Cm you can change so much more

Vtwin I flashed update as instructed. Flashed gapps. Alarm still closes. MMS still doesn't work. Unless I wasn't supposed to download update from op.

@ifone my mms works perfectly I can send and receive messages, the alarm clock does still force close but I don't use the stock app it has its limitations. Alarm clock extreme is my choice of app

Aokp has massive framework and ROM control you can change almost anything on your phone. Cm is closer to aosp. So in order to get the cool extras like center clock you need to edit and add XML lines

I am also having MMS problems. I checks the md5 check sum in op and they match perfect. Anything else I am missing?

So are you saying that you CANT do that stuff in AOKP?

You said in one post "cm you can change so much more" - but now it sounds like you're saying that AOKP already has more options baked in... so it sounds like you can actually change more in AOKP out of the box -- which sounds like it should be easier to develop with b/c that's less custom xml/code you have to add

Mine gets to that point as well. Have you tried changing the alarm times? When I tap to change/set alarm, that is when the fc occurs... (I know you don't use the native alarm clock, but I think that is what most are asking about.)
