I like several aspect of the Whizzed Bean roms, and have tried them all. However, I am faced with an overriding issue that prohibits DD use. For whatever reason, the phone will not "ring:" Nor will it notify.

I employ custom mp3's that I have placed in the system\media\audio\ringtone of notification files.

Anyone else have this issue?

Check your Profiles. In the ROM section of settings.
When a profile is active it overrides whatever the volume settings are. Found this out the hard way.
The ROM really needs a way to indicate when a profile is active, since they aren't reflected in the volume controls.

well tried it once again, i would love to keep this rom as my daily driver but too many bugs in it, no real good camcorder app, and yes i tried the lg camcorder, it stinks, and not being able to use the default camera app causes alot of issues with other apps crashing, and you can't share with messaging app from pudding camera, bluetooth issues of course, and not having a built in hotspot mod like other roms have is a negative. Yes i have done clean installs , wiped cache and davlik.. i would love to keep this rom , it has so many options but unfortunately until these issues , especially with the camera, i can't. Thanks again

Well i am very sorry you dislike it. Don't know what other jelly bean roms have these issues fixed, but i would love to know which ones do!

Can you do this from and keep it as close to possible as it is ICS? Icarus HD has a lot of these features fixed but not as fast

Used CN4 all day and loved it. One strange issue I came across though. No matter what twitter client I use (tried tweetcaster, plume, and twitter for android) , when I click on any Web link I get a page not available error, in both the stock browser and chrome.

Switch back to Icarus or Stock... I can click on any of these links in any of these clients, and the browser will take me right to the page.

Wondering if this inherent to my particular install or a known problem with CNA?

I should have a signature here...somewhere.

I have noticed this as well while using Falcon Pro.
Other than that, I haven't had any troubles that I can recall. Very nice ROM.

Sorry for the potential derail, but would anyone mind outlining the bluetooth issues present in the 4.1.2 roms? I see them referred to as the "typical issues" but don't know what the typical ones are.

I think it depends on the device you are trying to pair to. I have it paired to my Sony radio in my car and it works fine

There's no alternative barcode scanner that's JB compatible is there?

Great ROM again. I've begun using WB since the first release. I think I've flashed every other ROM for the Bionic and none have kept me interested like WB has. Making a donation when I get back to my PC.

Will celebrate when stock camera works though. Tired of apps that depend on the stock camera not working (barcode scanners, check deposits with banks).

Thanks man I appreciate it! I'm right there with you about the stock camera, but there's no way I'm going back to ICS....

Was looking for the NFC option? Maybe it's only in Hashcodes 4.2.1? Seems like I saw it somewhere before

Edit: Your donate link doesn't work for me :(

Should I use your gmail address?

I don't think the bionic has NFC so maybe that's why you can't find it

Apologies on the idiotic question. Didn't realize NFC was hardware.

Is it possible to enable the nav bar in this ROM?
