just jumped from 1.5 to 1.6.1, rom still runs great and all but the theme is a bit much for me. is there a way to restore to stock theme like 1.5 without me having to wipe? i tried flashing the stock battery and signal mod and that didn't change anything.

just jumped from 1.5 to 1.6.1, rom still runs great and all but the theme is a bit much for me. is there a way to restore to stock theme like 1.5 without me having to wipe? i tried flashing the stock battery and signal mod and that didn't change anything.



I flashed Toggles Only (No Bat or Sig) 1.5, and it changed the theme, too. ;)

I restored back to 1.5 stripped with jayrod's cyan theme. 1.6.1 was a little too much for me too.

Love everything about this ROM!!! Funny, after deleting my notifications, I was very pleasently surpeized to see the transparent pulldown bar with the awsome wings and Icarus logo!!! You did a.fantastic job in theming this ROM!

Wimp :P ..I was sick for a week and a half and still went to work,helped take care of the kids and mess around with theming stuff! :P Of course I didn't have that high of a temp, but still felt like death. Glad you're doing better...being sick sucks!

Forgive me if this was already posted (I looked but didn't see it) but will this be added to the OTA Updater built-in? I checked it this afternoon and it said there were no updates available so I'm still on 1.5. I hesitate to flash ROMs at the moment cuz my USB port on my phone is acting funny. It will only take a charge from AC. PC charging is a no go and so is direct PC connection. I have to take the SD card out, put in the computer, copy the ROM over and then put it back in the phone in order to flash and it's become a royal pain in the butt. Before anyone asks, I'm using the stock Moto cable. I've tried the one that came with my phone, the one that came with my OG Droid and the one that came with my wife's OG Droid Razr. That leads me to believe that problem is in my phone's port, not the cable. I've also tried multiple computers and various OS's. This has prevented me from FXZing the VZW OTA 246 ROM. My phone was using the 233 ROM so I lucked out with the kernel being ICS for flashing newer ROMs.

Honestly, if it isn't going to be added to the OTA Updater, it's not a deal breaker. I love the ROM and want to keep it up to date. It's super smooth and I haven't really found any glitches outside of what was posted in the OP. IcarusHD will be my daily driver for a long time.

Can't you just DL straight to phone?

Has anyone over clocked this ROM? What did you use?

I was thinking the ota updater was removed in 1.5. I dont think you will be seeing an update through the ota updater. It was a little buggy if I remember correctly. I think you will be ok to download and update to 1.6.1. There are a few changes but the base is pretty much the same. If you are leery just make sure to backup apps and wipe good.

Yep download it straight to the phone. I overclock with tweakerz app. Cpu_control module needs to be manually loaded and again if you reboot. You can do that through tweakerz app.

No problem. Just make a backup of the rom you're on now. Then if you run into any issues you can just restore that backup. Sounds like you work at the underground mines near where i live lol.
