yeah but now we dont know if we are going to get the patch cause we thought 247 would be OTA so that we could get JB...


ill trust what sarge has said from before. and maybe if we ask him he can ask his contact again lol

Does anyone have the md5 from the 246 OTA? Is it the same as the leak?

Also, why would getting 246 preclude us from getting JB

Probably best to wait a bit and see what happens with the soak/OTA and see what sarge et al can glean from their sources as to what is going on.

remember the 902 to 905 patch to prepare for ics? just because 246 is ota doesn't mean we won't get jb.

I'm pretty sure an outfit like motorola is using some sort of change management system that automatically changes the build number when they compile new changes. There should be no way for that kind of system to produce to non-identical build (ie different MD5 hashes) with the same build numbers. It would defeat the entire purpose.

the 247 leak had the patch in it. If they intended to move toward JB, we would be getting that OTA, but since it is 246, not a chance in he*&.......

247 was discussed as a PATCH! after 246 was OTAd

247 was a full build with the patch built in

well... most likely no JB for us. although bright spot still have 5 months of support left via the contract so as sarge told me you never know... but dont count on it

247 is still on qa1 and sdc100, i wouldn't totally give up hope yet.

when I read about the 246 I wanted to punch a hole through Verizon soul however, 247 was most likely cleared by Moto but vetoed by vzw. this means that should vzw have no jb plans for us, moto has already reached to us the patch that we will require to mod our way to jelly bean.
