ROMS flying! ! Everything smooth as a Ken Doll! Only thing I found was contact actions shows news icon instead of call icon. Running great though. For some reason first boot was much quicker than any rom flash previous

Not seeing that. I made a new build, more bloat yanked out and I am doing some UI work. Let me know.

Pardon the ignorance, but why no landscape mode for the home screen? Otherwise this seems pretty speedy so far man, great job. Diggin the boot animation as well. Thanks!

It is fast. My init.d script does what is needs to, along with the GPU and Events hacks... Nothing more is needed.

As for the rest of the list??
The GPS only benefits from a edit to the NTP Pool once.

CPU Optimization? ? Sounds like snake oil. Without a custom kernel, the OS itself is the only thing that can help. Less Latency, and management. It the OS is streamlined the CPU does its job.

Build.prop edits? Only a few things can happen with regards to them. The GPU force, disable the check system in the kernel, and the FPS are the only tweaks I made in the prop. IMO, all that is needed.

The syscrl and ram optimization come in for the init.d to complete everything.

Its not like selling a used car, If the ROM wasn't fast, I wouldn't say it, nor would I bother posting or running it.

stock launcher - display is set to auto rotate. Is there a way to set stock launcher to rotate landscape? I came from OG Droid and before rooting was weirded out by the lack of home screen rotation. Just flashed this coming from Derazrx - it had home screen rotation but I WAS running ADW so...I guess that answers that.

Seems kind of a negative post for something that is free. Try it out, if you dont like it reflash what you had. =)

Basic differences that one can see arctic is deodexed which gives the ability of pull down toggles, 1% battery mods, etc... arctic is 100% themed this rom is not as of yet. Both are fast and stable however IMO and experience arctic does not do aswell on battery life. Actic also has a rebbot option in the power menu this one does not. Arctic has a few force closes in the beginning that this rom does not. The question really is do you want a fast stable rom or a fast stable rom with a theme.

Both are great roms and it really comes down to personal preference on a users part. It is awesome that in the last few weeks we have went from no choices to a conversation about which is the best and which to choose.

My friend, unless it specifies otherwise always wipe. With your contacts synced with google and your apps backed up with titanium backup your talking 10-15 minute restore. Plus it helps devs find actual bugs vs bugs from not wiping.I am so happy roms are finally coming to the razr! Now I have a reason to keep hitting refresh...mwuahaha......

With all do respect to all other ROMs, this one has been the best for me. runs fast and smooth. I'll stick with it for awhile. For those user who have to have the 1% battery, go and download Battery Circle for free. if you need the Reboot option go and download Quick Boot.

Just make a backup of your current ROM and give it a try. Best way to find out for yourself if you'll like it.
IMO, this flies. I've tried all roms currently available(that I know of) and this seems by far the fastest and smoothest. Never see anything less from Droidth3ory. He is the beezneez
