I have this and 4 total batteries and it is nicer than peaches and creamI go a different route. I got the external charger that came with an extra battery when I first got my Bionic. Works just as well and gives you more breathing room to work with. (What happens if you don't fix your problem before the extended battery charge runs out? Back to square one). With the external charger you pull the battery out, charge it up, and you're good to go. Just something to consider. No idea if anyone still sells them or not.

Same. CostCo gave me the external charger, and a spare stock battery. I just bought 2 extended batteries during the 'sale'.
I tried to find an external charger but was unable to find one in a local store.
Never have seen them in a local store, but I know you can get them online.

That was what I was avoiding, since I wanted it fixed ASAP, and waiting a couple days or paying an arm and a leg for overnight shipping was not an option

Yeah, I had a friend from AF who was a Wireless Associates sales rep at a CostCo and he told me what they typically include with their phones. It was a no brainer when he revealed what all would come with the BIONIC, so I took my happy arse to Atlanta to the nearest CostCo, and waited to get the first one sold at the store on drop day.
I never used the car charger, screen protectors, two stock back covers, and modified the CarDock with the base from the Droid X car dock, which had 2 swivel pints instead of one, making it a lot easier to mount my BIONIC in the windshield.

Thanks for posting this. They currently (for about the next 2 hrs, they say) have both this charger and the Bionic's battery on sale for $5.99/ea. I bought both and my order came to $16.97 with shipping. I had already been considering it, but this is a no-brainer...
Cheers & Happy New Year!

That's a pretty good deal. The one I got from CostCo is
- it uses the micro USB so you can also charge it via a computer USB port.

Yeah, I do like that one, John. Had I not come across this deal, I probably would have bought one of those.
P.S. Just noticed your location. Nice! Is that a reference to the comedy show, the Jimi song, general cosmological locator, or something else?
