Anyone use anything else instead of stock browser? I was looking into a new one and don't know which ones are good.

Been using Dolphin HD for about a year now and have nothing but good things to day about it. Downloaded it on the wife's LG Esteem (barf) and she loves it.

Actually sky fire I've used. Dolphin. Boat. Mini. Opera. All of them are good. Speed depends on device.. Skyfire is huge but many capabilities. Most of these market browsers conserve your data by a number of things. They each have their plus sides. However I always find myself back to stock. Idk ..just fast and reliable. For me anyway. But if I wasn't on unlimited I would go with a lighter browser I mentioned...lol

I used Dolphin HD, stock one isn't bad either though. Only real reason I use Dolphin is because of the easy/quick access to tabs. Only time I tried Opera out was on the Droid X, and it was horribly slow for me, haven't touched it since; just a personal experience though.

Dolphin is for sure better, the add-ons themselves make it worth it (translate, brightness, QR generate, speed dial, read it later, mobile/desktop toggle, shake it, wiki search, and much more at one gesture) plus the customizable gestures are outstanding (like drawing a "N" to create a new tab, drawing a "G" to go to Google, etc.).

Plus the speed is unbeatable.

:-D :-D

I've tried a couple others but I find stock to be much smoother and faster than others. I do have Firefox installed because I have it set to automatically OTA sync my bookmarks with Firefox on my PC. When I'm just browsing I don't use it because it lags but there are times when it is very handy to be able to access a website from my phone that I had previously viewed on the computer.

I've tried them all, on all different phones (og droid, droid x, thunderbolt) always seem to go back to stock, but I check them out again here and there, see if there is anything new and exciting (usually not)

There is a free app on market titled browser manager it has 7 preinstalled links to the most popular browsers. I would use that to sample browsers or what the heck the razr has plenty room to add all 7.

Dolphin HD is probably the most popular answer for the best, which I also agree it has to be in the top 2.
But one that I am really getting fond of is Maxthon. I have been using that, and Dolphin has been not seeing much use since I started using Maxthon. Check it out.

I couldn't get Opera or Chrome to work on Axiom AB7. I recently read about Miren browser and it works great so far. It is no longer in the market but I found an apk to download.
