DROID DNA Boot Animation w/Sound
OPTIMZED FOR DROID RAZR

THANKS:
--B16, for the DROID DNA system dump

This package includes:
- Boot Animation
- Boot Sound
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to install:
- Reboot into SAFESTRAP Recovery (Bootstrap has not been tested, so I can't promise you won't have issues flashing this with it)
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Install .zip from SD card
- REBOOT system

If on stock ROM/JB leak/Manual Install:
-unzip the package
-the 2 files are in system/media
-use a file manager with root access (ES file explorer) to copy and paste the 2 files into the system/media folder on the phone. (rename or copy the original boot animation.zip in case you want to go back)
-REBOOT and enjoy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AS ALWAYS...I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE AS A RESULT OF USING THIS CONTENT, JUST AS IT IS NO ONE ELSES FAULT FOR ANY DAMAGE I MIGHT DO TO MINE. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE RISKS INVOLVED, YA MIGHT JUST BE BETTER OFF STICKING WITH STOCK. It's not that complicated, just do a little research. Plenty of knowledge floating around...

I think I may up the volume a little. Maybe its just me, but they seem to make the boot sounds on these so low that you wonder why they even waste their time putting them in. This is such a better looking bootanimation than the Droid M though. It just may be my favorite so far.

Is there a way to install this outside of SS3? It won't let me install a zip on stock rom. Thanks.

I actually lowered the volume by quite a bit because it was so damn loud originally lol.

I can repackage it and send to you if you want

You don't have to repackage it but I appreciate the offer. I think I am going to try repacking it myself since I've never done it before and see how things go.

So I flashed this zip, rebooted and my phone now says "encryption failed" and it wants me to do a factory reset. Where did this come from? Because I sure as hell didn't attempt an encryption.

Droid Razr, running the latest JB update. Flashed through CWM recovery. wiped everything before and after.

I'm pretty sure this is a system error now. I tried reinstalling the update, but it coming back with an error in the system folder and stopped. Any ideas on how to push the update without the system check?

So just a heads up, don't flash this if you are on Jelly bean. I'm guessing that it causes some sorta issue with the system.
