We use them on the rack systems at my job. The ones we use are set up to shut the system down gently after 15-20 minutes on battery power then restart the system once power is restored.

not the expert here by any means, but wouldn't that be a little over kill? 900W UPS and a 550W power supply. Idk though I just work with them; I don't install them.

Just curious to know how you will handle multiple connections uploading/downloading from this box if its home hosted? Not to mention if the power supply blows out or the box blows up where would all the builds go? I mean you have a great idea it's just a little weird how it's being implemented lol

I'm using a 1000w power supply and my house has a backup generator. Every night my computer backs up to crash plan
