Best Answer spainter , 17 May 2015 - 01:00 PM

I am not sure if roming will help or not. I will ask some of the people here that are more up on the roms for the xt 912.

One of our Mods suggested getting RadioComm and installing that. He said that may or may not help your problem. I would look at that and see if it seems worth the potential problems it might cause. From what I could see it was a hack developed for phones made around the time your phone was.  xt907-xt926. No one has said that installing a custom would help.

I got my MMS/SMS messaging working. For some reason if I name my APN name an "actual name" it will not save, but if I name it a random name i.e fgdhfhdhfdgd then it will save. I went down through setting the settings to what they have to be, got to mms port, set it to 80 like it's supposed to be and the rest automatically set, saved the apn profile I just made, selected it from the list of apns, and sent a picture msg to my sister. :D :D :D

OK Glad you got it working.  Now I wonder how I am going to tell people they have to accidentally brick their phone etc. to fix their 4G issue...LOL. It can't mean to do it ... it has to be an accident. :D :D :D
