Got Unrooted By Update

I rooted my Razr a few days ago using zergRush. I did the update today unfortunately without checking to see if it would affect the root and of course I lost it. Is there any way that I can re-root my phone? I am a noob to rooting btw

There is no method to root .173 yet. You will have to RSD back to .744 update to .748 reroot use voodoo OTA rootkeeper to protect root then update to .173 step3 in the OP this thread

If I have some bloat apps frozen can I still use RSD Lite to restore back to .748 as described in the thread above?

RSD is not like an OTA update. It doesn't care what your current setup looks like, because it is designed as a full recovery method for technicians.

Could just rollback using the zip in my guide then reroot and protect before upgrading again.
