A couple of must reads before you flash the preview for those who haven't yet:

Yup, I'm going to test 2.70 tonight, and then I am going to use HoN to flash the full N Preview package down to my phone with a clean slate to see how many issues that I currently have (almost nothing, really) go away.

There is a bug in the preview version that is causing hangs and problems with Flashfire. Before updating via ota read this:http://forum.xda-dev...&postcount=2716

I think that that actually says do not use FlashFire to update.  The regular OTA is working fine.

How did HoN work to flash 'N'?  Last I knew, Sam hadn't ensured compatibility.

It worked fine.  If there had been a problem, I would have told him, and re-flashed the M 6.0.1 and taken the OTA again to get back on N, while he troubleshot the issue.

As it stands, the utility works exactly as it should.

Of course, that may not hold true for future N Preview full system files....

BTW, If you want to show support for bugs that have been files already for Android N, here is a modified search link that weeds out some of the reports that have been marked as:

  • duplicate
  • not going to happen (declined)
  • user error
  • not a bug (working as intended)
