But seriously, there's nothing I can say in here that I haven't already said to you in private. The condition of this site has most certainly improved during your tenure Russ (not that it was a rat hole before that). The site's memberships have grown substantially in the last year and there have been a lot of changes. I do feel it's safe to say you are leaving your post in better condition than you found it. And that's a true testament of a fine leader. What am I going to do when I don't have you to take the fall for my silly mistakes? It's a shame really how little many people know about just HOW much you've given to the site. You're daily involvement will be missed. I hope in 6-8 months when you return you come back as if you never left. In the meantime, I will do my best to handle situations the "Russ way"

Good luck brother. Even though I don't know you that well I do know we will be losing a fair and honest admin, who didn't pull the admin card when others may have. I salute you for all you have done for the community and what you are about to do for our country. Safe journey there AND back home and may god be with you.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and support. If anyone ever gets the opportunity to be part of the staff on any site, take it. I didn't realize how much goes into just being a mod or admin. We have a superb group of members which makes things easier.

Russ when I stepped back and had to choose someone to fill my shoes there was many I could of chose from, your right. The decision was easy for me. You have a level head , self respect , honor integrity an most of all a passion for Android. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for keeping the place intact while I took care of personal business. Stay safe out there and drop us a line every so often.
