dude it didn't worked for me, but i'll keep trying!I found out a way to charge without the factory cable a couple of days ago, while fooling around with my bricked RAZR MAXX. I know it's a little late for you now but, as a future reference. As long as your battery has enough charge to at least boot into AP Fastboot mode, then all you would have to do to get it charging, is plug it to a wall outlet with the cable that came with your phone, then from the AP Fastboot menu select boot with BP tools. Your RAZR will then reboot and start the charging process. It worked for mine, and I also saw another users post saying he figured it out too, and it worked for him. If there's a will, there's a way! :-) It's nice to have the factory cable, just to have it but, a lot of people just can't afford to spend the cash nowadays. Especially with a cash strapped economy.

Good luck. I still have my brick. When I get home, I'll double check the steps to make sure they are correct, I could have misinformed you on the correct process I used. Not having the phone in front of me to make sure sucks. It did work for me though, I promise. Like I said though, when I get home I'll double check the way I did it, just to make sure.dude it didn't worked for me, but i'll keep trying!

Anyone tried to run DT's script on the .206 leak? Been thinking about it and I don't think it will break anything after looking at the scripting.

nah, i have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic 4G Touch with the ICS leak FE10 and flash player video on that phone works fine
also according to adobe, Flash player 11.1 supports Ice Cream sandwitch i use the stock browser, Opera Mobile Browser, Dolphin Browser HD, Firefox Beta for trying to view the flash videos and no, the videos that i watch are not available on Youtube
Thanks for the lesson! BTW, I haven't had any problems with flash on ICS, I use firefox beta, chrome and dolphin...
Another note:
After you boot into 206 initially, power off, then boot into AP mode, and flash the .85 boot img with matts little utility. After that flashes, you should still be in AP mode. Just simply hit the power to shutoff. from there hit the three bottons again and boot with BP Tools. It will appear to boot into 206 normally. from there you can run the ICS root from matts utility. some people say boot into BP tools each time the tool requires a reboot. I didn't and my root worked. After the tool is done and the phone reboots 3 times, you should be rooted. then power off, go back into AP again, and flash the 206 boot img with the little utility. from there you should be set.
That should be in the op for the ones like me who had to figure it out on my own....

After preinstall are the files that are undowngradeable. If you still want to flash 206 you should fix your preinstall.img with 181 fastboot filesHey matt, something that i find strange happened. one of my razrs that was on 181, kept failing the 206 update after updating preinstall files with status 0 error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip but would refuse to boot and fastboot version was 74 so it basically updated a whole bunch of stuff that i am pretty sure to be undowngradeable. I used your utility multiple times to restore 181 and it successfully booted 181. Did i just acheive a downgrade?
You shouldn't be installing the leaks over themselves...this isn't a good idea and no one has said to do so.@ matt remember that some of these leaks would flash over themselves right? Lol how i lost root on204. But anyway when i try 206 flash over its failing cause it sees bspatch detected..hope its not cause a problem pushing ota?
Please do not Personal Message me for help or troubleshooting. They will be ignored. Post in threads or start one in Q&A sections.

normal .complete procedure it works
But when it gets done, it boots into a fresh install of .84 without me going into recovery and flashing anything. This isn't my first rodeo in roms and root...I guess I must be missing something. Been around with this stuff since the original Moto Droid and MANY in between. This one is just wearing me out.

You shouldn't let it completely reboot after RSD'ing 181 with matt's utility. After matt's utility is done restoring 181 files, immediately (or power off and reboot into AP fastboot mode) flash the 206 boot img with the other utility matt wrote, then restart phone and boot into moto recover to flash the 206 zip file on your sdcard. But when it gets done, it boots into a fresh install of .84 without me going into recovery and flashing anything.
