When I select "Decompress Only" in RSD lite, I get an error saying, "Please check Input file.  Either XMP input file is wrong or image files associated with that are missing."  I am using the file VZW_XT926_4.1.2_9.8.1Q_62_VQW_MR-2_VQW_CFC_ROOT_PREP.xml.zip that is associated with the file located

.  Am I doing something wrong or is this the wrong file or should I ignore the error?

It seems to have decompressed the file. but when I try to decompress SamuriHL_Downgrade.xml  I get the same error.

What's the MD5 on the zip file?  Kaos will be able to post his MD5 and you can compare.  Possibly a corrupt download.

Take the file CZ posted, drop it into an extracted FXZ for your M and follow the directions.  Should work.

Even if the OTA file isn't specifically for the XT907? Please pardon my ignorance, but what exactly do you mean by dropping the file into an extracted FXZ? Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2

You should wait.  An M version with step by step instructions will be posted later.  Since you seem to be confused, waiting is your best option until a step by step guide is posted for the M.

I see the problem - in your xml it calls for system.img.ext4 , but the file is just system.img .

It worked fine with 7-zip.  Should I just extract with that and proceede?

I didn't edit that line in the xml.  Did they change the name of the file in the latest FXZ?  That's entirely possible.

They did.  Idjits.  The xml will have to be changed to reflect the filename.  I'm seriously just going to write us a batch script for this crap....I'll do it tonight.

Can I just edit the xml file and remove the ".ext4" save and proceed or will it screw up the MD5 or should I just wait until everything gets fixed tonight?

Thanks guys

That's exactly what you need to do.  It's my bad for not checking the MR2 files.  The MD5 isn't used.

You'll want to update the MD5 as well because changing the file name will change that.
