This is not going to be aanother one of those threads !

Dan does not ask for anyone to donate for the download . He mostly gives his donations to charity anyway. We are asking for the members that pledged there money to please do so now. That's all, if anyone wants to add to the fund , your name will go in the OP.

So we donate and get a link to the file? Hows this work cause if I donate to get it I want it ASAP LOL. Is $10 OK thats what I'm able to donate for root.

Dan will release it free of charge, that is what has happened in the past at least.... It is called a donation to show your appreciation for his hard work. :)

I don't think people understand the nature of a donation. :) You're donating based on someone giving their time to find a root exploit. Dan has been EXTREMELY generous to the Moto community providing exploit after exploit. If you believe his time is worth something, please donate. But just by donating doesn't mean you get instant satisfaction. LOL.

I pay $180.00 a month on my phone bill. I'm not giving anyone a dime for achieving root. I'll save my $50 and take my wife and kids out to eat. I'll wait till its made fully available. In the mean time I'm very happy with my stock RAZR Maxx beauty thank you very much.

What does you paying $180 a month to have phone service through Verizon have to do with a root exploit?

Saying this like this is the reason people don't want to bother putting in the effort to even find root exploits. "I'll wait till its made fully available"? You know, it hasn't been released yet. What if your smart comment motivates djrbliss to just keep it to himself. Then you're going to wish you just kept quiet, cause you will have to face the wrath of all of these generous community members who respect the people who do work like this for us and expect nothing in return. Too many people these days think EVERYTHING should just be handed to them. It's sad.

I feel bad that my comment upset some people. Wasn't trying to do that. I only surf these forums to look for other things to do with my spare 5 minutes. I don't live and die with my phone like some apparently. Perfectly happy without root. Again sorry.
