I have a Razr Maxx HD XT926M.  A couple of days ago, I had a notification that a Google Play update had failed.  When I attempted to try the update again, it failed once more.  I cancelled the update (I think the update was actually for the Store itself), and my phone began acting buggy.  My notification bar and the soft keys (Home, Go Back, etc) at the bottom of the screen both intermittently disappeared, so I would be stuck in whatever screen I was in.  It also wouldn't allow me to open any apps, neither from the home screen or the menu, and Google Maps would open on it's own, but it just said "Maps" in the top left and rest of screen was white.  I tried powering down and back on several times.  it would be ok for a couple of mins, then these things would start again.

Yesterday, I plugged my phone into my laptop to try and pull my pics and music from my phone over to my laptop.  My laptop recognized my phone in Windows Explorer, but the files would not move.  I power cycled the phone once or twice, same results.  Then I power cycled it once more, and it would not go past the red eye in the booting process.  I power cycled it a few times, still stuck in boot.  I've tried a master reset through the alternative boot screen, and through Recovery (I have CWM recovery) and clearing my cache partition.  I've also tried flashing stock firmware using ADB and RSD Lite, but it fails.

Can someone give me some pointers?  I can't do a replacement because Verizon will charge me a fee if I send this phone back.  They consider an unlocked bootloader as damaged.  So, I would really like to revive my phone if possible.

Thank you in advance for any help!!!

I've also tried flashing stock firmware using ADB and RSD Lite, but it fails.

Um yeah......FYI, you don't flash anything via ADB
...........And........
We need way way more info.....

What system version are you on?....
What EXACTLY did you try to flash?..
What version of RSDLite are you using?
Have you tried House of Moto? ......
What failures are you getting with RSDLite ..?

My apologies, I typed this up at work and that is incorrect.  What I tried to do in ADB was relock the bootloader using the command "fastboot oem relock".  I have not tried House of Moto.  I believe I was on 9.16.6, but to be honest, I'm not 100% certain, and the phone isn't charged right now for me to see if that is something I can see.

This is the info for what I tried to flash (per forums I had found):

Filename: VZW_XT926_4.1.2_9.8.1Q_62_VQW_MR-2_VQW_RSD.xml
Creation Date: 09/30/2014 03:51:39
File size: 906
Sofware Version: vanquish_vzw-user 4.1.2 9.8.1Q-62_VQW_MR-2 6 release-keysVANQUISH_BP_100730.081.64.09P
For Phone Model: VANQUISH_RSD_IFLASH

My RSD version is RSD Lite v5.7 Multi-Flash/Multi-Flex Tool.

I'm also not sure what the error message said exactly, it was 2 days ago, and the phone is dead since it won't actually stay powered off.  I'll be glad to post additional information a little later tonight after it's had some time to charge.

Please let me know if any of this is helpful, and I will be back with some additional info.  Thank you for your help!

Well re-locking your phone is definitely out, thats not gonna happen so dont bother trying. Just get the device restored so it works.

MR2 is a very old version....your not reading and following instructions that are posted everywhere...

Can't lock the bootloader from ADB.  If this is not a Dev edition, you cannot relock it anyway.  The fastboot commands need to be done from the AP fastboot mode.

You should use a newer version of RSD.  If you are getting a downgrade message, then you need to use a newer firmware.  Since you are unlocked, just flash the newest one available.  RSD would need to be a newer version as well, or better yet, just use Samuri's RSD flasher or House of Moto that way you don't have to modify the XML.

Finally got time to sit down and walk through House of Moto.  Went through successfully (I chose the "Full" option).  Now the phone will not turn on at all.  Thoughts?

The firmware that I flashed was Android 4.1.1 (Blur_Version.9.1.41.XT926.Verizon.en.US)
