Hi Everyone,

Just got the nav dock for my MAXX. I'm having some issues with the stock Car Home app and was wondering if anyone else has ran into it.

I made sure to get the legit nav dock, where the audio cable is integrated into the microUSB cable. Per usual, I have my BT headset connected to the phone, but music plays through the headset, not the car stereo. Using the 3.5mm jack allows the phone/BT/music stuff to work normally (music plays through car, calls go to BT). I loaded Winamp into the 1 spare spot (seriously, only 1?) and it has the same problem as stock player.

I also tried Car Dock Home v3 off the market and it has the same problem.

Does anyone know of a work around for this that does not involve me using the 3.5mm jack, since that defeats the point of integrated audio-USB? I also prefer to keep the music-to-BT device option on because I do use that when I'm not in the car.

Or if I completely missed something please set me straight...

As far as I know, audio was intergrated through HDMI only, not USB. Least thats what I found with my RAZR and the Multimedia Dock and Lapdock.

The audio is integrated through the USB. Everything works when a BT device isn't connected. It's when one is connected that it gets annoying.

I don't think they considered the idea that someone would want to separate USB for music stream, and BT for calls only. At least not with a car dock. Generally, people want the dock for charging and nav, and would be satisfied with 3.5 or bt for audio. These docks don't use magnets for dock, they use a resistor in the USB IIRC. Have you tried using the cable without the dock? Just an idea. I don't pretend to be knowledgeable on this,
