I use Nova. I also like Apex, but I am constantly changing my theme and Apex tends to drag internally (settings). Nova is just so light and quick... absolutely love it.

Sinju do you have the donate version or free the only reason I ask is the wife loves nova and I was wondering if its worth paying for the extras.

Well I've been running kexec stuff since it came out, but I'm going to try going back to a stock based rom cause my battery has been doing weird things like dropping 20% randomly and I think it has to do with kexec. Anyways I hope this will get my battery back on the right track without making me have to suffer on the stock stock rom haha

I was introduced to the free version via a ROM. Liked it so much I bought Prime to support the dev. It really just opens organization options and gestures... both of which are great for me, cause I'm an organizing freak. And gestures let's me get rid of some shortcuts. The free version is more than enough for most users.

This can be useful after flashing ROMs man.

I've been told by multiple devs to NEVER wipe battery stats. I can clear it in BMM so I don't need the app, and it really makes no difference lol. I couldn't get over 10 hours on any kexec and since last night on rage I was at 10 hours with 44 percent left with like 30 mins of screen on.

Only problem is that I cannot send texts. I'm assuming I did it by to removing tons of system apps, or flashing awesome beats v5. I tried wiping cache and dalvic, also fix permissions and it didn't help. Might as well do a full wipe and start over, and be a little more careful but I've never had this problem in the past so hopefully it was just a fluke.

OK so I've never had to do this but if I remember right the fix for the SMS problem was this:

Dial this *#*#4636#*#*

Should bring up a menu to select network mode

Select cmda/evdo/lte (or the closest option) lol

Then go and toggle airplane mode on/off.

At this point you should be able to text message

Hope this is correct I am going from memory and I never had to do it personally.

It was probably due to the fact that I changed messaging apps and then went back to stock. I went back to the aosp messaging and that trick works for that too it just seems to have to be done every reboot which is fine I'll take that anyday to have inverted cm10 messaging with pop up.
