I'm not even allowed to view the page :(
If you guys want to get better quality audio, I would suggest flashing the Eclipse ROM and using it's DSP manager
The razr's audio quality really sucks compared to my OG droid, but using the DSP manager, audio sounds much better.
You get a graphic equalizer, a bass booster, dynamic range compression, loudness compensation, and virtual room effect controls.
Your headset, phone speaker, and bluetooth device settings are all independent of each other as well

DSP manager is available as a stand alone app as well, there's a thread with the apk on xda.

I have a Beats Audio zip that works, used the same one on my LG Revolution and it's the zip from the XDA post. Only catch (that not a lot of people noticed) is that the updater_script does not mount /system so it's actually not doing anything at all. Placebo effect?

Anyway, here's the zip that I have and make sure you mount /system in recovery before flashing it. I haven't fixed the updater_script yet.

It will work for any build as long as you're rooted.

So I placed the zip on my internal sd card, was in bootstrap went to apply zip from sd card, then went to choose zip from internal sdcard, scrolled down to allandroidzip.zip, hit that and I got

--Installing: /emc/allandroidzip.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update package...
E:Error in /emc/allandroidzip.zip
(Status 0)
Installation Aborted

Not sure if I did somthing wrong

*** For some reason my music does sound a lot clearer not sure if it went through and worked but I did get that ^ ***

I installed on my 181 maxx. Mounted system. I can play mine and my wifes without beats side by side. = zero difference. Wish i could get the eq settings going to see if that would help.

There will be a difference lol. Play music through a car or some actual speakers and not the phone. I'm not saying Beats Audio is "OMG THAT'S AMAZING." But there is definitely a difference.

I've never tried beats but use dspmanager and it only makes a difference when i use google music. Does nothing for Pandora

How do you flash zips through root explorer? I am using safestrap too and I don't think that works to flash zips.

Root Explorer cannot flash zip files.
