If they included all the right tools and everything and got it down to 70ish or 80ish I'd be in and throw in a word to some friends as well!!

This may be off topic...if so...sorry. The question is...will the increased battery capacity work with the stock battery software/hardware or will we be faced with never knowing what the current battery capacity remaining is after we make the upgrade to the larger capacity battery.

Wiping battery stats and running it up/down a bit 100%->20%-100%[...] will tune it in. The phone hardware/software is identical after upgrading with OEM parts.

Sounds good to me. I hope this group buy works out. Thanks.

I signed up for this specifically after hearing/reading about it on Droid-Life .... SIGN ME UP!!!!

(of course I am going to keep an eye on this site from now on - seems pretty cool dedicated to the RAZR and all)

They forgot the most important part: the Maxx has a black Moto badge, while the Razr has that obnoxious silver Moto name plate.

If the group buy for the Razr to Razr Maxx conversion kit happens and the price is reasonable I am willing to participate in this.

I'm going to post details on exactly how the group buy is going to work now, so everyone knows what the deal is ahead of time. Once I get a pricing structure from them I will post it and keep a running list of who's interested, and hopefully we can get enough people to hit their steepest discount. Once we figure that out I will start taking orders, the money will need to be sent to my PayPal account IN FULL; including any taxes and shipping. I have done many a group buy for coral and livestock back in the day, and this is the only/best way to exclude the people that will flake out and leave me holding the bag, and out money. Once I have everyone's money I will place the order and get the units on their way to you guys, assuming they will do that. There is a slim chance that they will insist that all the packages are sent to me, in which case I will send them out as soon as I receive them.

I would love to be included in this group buy. I won't have the money until the 15th (military get's paid on the 1st and the 15th and all my bills come out of my pay on the first). I will definitely pay however much they say is ok for a group buy. Just please keep me informed and updated on how it's going!

I'm in. I'm just pissed that I have to pay more for a Maxx than everyone else. I didn't mind paying $ 299 for a phone, but having a better phone come out so soon afterwards for the same price really sucked. Motorola should offer an exchange program for us early adopters.
