Still can not find PA options. If I pull down the status bar the icon next to settings is for Halo. If I click on settings there is no PA options listed. I will try to re download and flash again.

It's in settings, hybrid properties.

) and hid the nav bar to get all that screen real estate, as much vertical as the razr maxx hd now! all the stability from cm, with all the options from both cm and aokp, love this new version of orion, glad to hear you will be focusing on this version.

Hello,

So, I seem to be having some problems flashing this mod onto my phone.

Here are the steps I took.

1. I am unlocked.

2. Created new rom-slot (2gb)

3. Wiped Cache / Dalvchik 3x to be safe

4. Mounted system

5. Flashed on PA

6. Flashed Breadfan_PA

7. Reboot.

And here's where the problem starts, I don't get to profit sadly, I get a black screen, as if the phone was shut off. Yet, my LED light on top left keeps flashing every 15 seconds or so, and it's a red flash at that.

I can't power off the phone, or anything, unless I hold the Vol. Down button and power, then boot into bootloader and then go straight to SS and go to my stock boring rom. Can someone please help me so I can get this to work?

Thanks.

A few things, first... Welcome to the community... Second... Your issue is you are still using safestrap. These newer builds are made to be flashed using a recovery like TWRP or CWM. Lastly... You do not need to mount aosp roms as they have the mount script in them already.

So, look on the forums, find newest TWRP and try again without mounting. Please report back.

Ok, so, I found TWRP for the Razr M, it's unofficial but people say it works. I do wonder if you could tell me 2 things please, first, how to flash it on my phone or a thread to do so, and second, how to remove SS.

You remove safestrap by going into the apk... And clicking uninstall recovery. Then you can uninstall the apk the normal way. As far as installing twrp is easiest thru fastboot. If you are not familiar with fastboot you can use matts utility for the m to only flash twrp. That is also in a thread here on Dr.

Well, soon as I got TWRP, and deleted SS, it worked perfectly. I love Paranoia. xD
Thank you for your help.

Which version? And what do you mean updating apps? Like from the playstore?

Aokp.
Yes, from play store.... Did the full deal, wipe data, installed ROM then gapps posted in thus thread.
Downloaded a full slim beam ROM faster than updating a 1mb app.....

Hmm... Could be just because it's a newer version. I haven't noticed a difference between roms but I restore with titanium backup all the time.

It is possible that you just replaced David Freese as my new man crush.  haha

Anyway, are the GAPPs you posted the same as what's available on Slim's website?  Just curious because I'm debating dirty flashing this over the Slim I have running on the phone.

They are based on those. I added a few ringtones, init.d scripts, xbin tweaks and apex launcher. The stock ones will work.

usually I'm not a fan of restoring apps via TiBu (just data).  but that's what I had to do.  another issue was that many apps needed to be updated anyway, so the restoration didn't really save any time.

anyhow, I just set all of those apps to update, plugged in my phone and went to bed.  when I awoke, they finally went through and updated just fine.  I then got a notification for 2 more app updates, and those updated real quick this morning.  so I'm sure the issue was on my end and has zero to do with this ROM.

anyhow, I noticed that the latest version of the AOKP ROM is 6/29 (same deal for the kernel too - is that N36ish?).
