I found an option under settings in nofrillz that you check that makes it so no other apps can change it back... Will see if it works.

Working allot better since last time i installed rom.  have noticed that i cant get mixzing or any other music player to read (all) my music on sd card. stock rom does if installed, but for some reason i got to use xplore file manager just to find and play most my music.

and when in call the speakers dont seem to be loud enough, its hard to hear.

(BUT thats all i have noticed) AND still love the work you have done.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR TIME AND EFFORT.

For PA: is this the right check sum for the ROM: 492ee1f08c4f8895019e23ad0409643e

and for the gapps: 942b7de618a283476cd4e0205b2d53a0

I can't get it to flash right so I am checking that it is downloaded correctly. Thanks.

Any way to change the camera store location on the aokp? Other than this, the rom is fantastic. Thanks

I don't have that option. How are you getting to the camera settings page. I'm opening the camera and opening settings from the onscreen settings button. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk 2

Click the circle on the bottom right of the screen when you're in the camera.  It should have an "A" with a lightning bolt, or something similar.  This will open the settings circle in the middle of the screen.  Click the option at the bottom of the circle, with the toggle looking things, this is the settings menu.

Well it looks like no frills isn't keeping my governor and scheduler set to what I want.. Is there an init.d file I can change the settings?

When I do this I only have 3 options scene mode, storage location, and picture size. The storage location is just a simple on or off toggle.

Store location is for storing image location with the photo, not saving pics to external.  Give me a few minutes to restore the backup of AOKP.  I was telling you about Slim, sorry.

edit:  Here's the settings menu in AOKP.  Top option is where you choose storage location.  Do you not have that?

I'm in the same boat as laibal, I only have 3 options, and none of them read "storage".  just scene mode, store location, and picture size.

i know I've seen the settings you are referring to on other ROMs, so perhaps I need to go back to that ROM, backup the camera app, switch back to this ROM, and then restore it.  or, if someone would be kind enough to post that app, I can just download and install it that way.

the only other camera app backed up is from 4.1.1 and doesn't have the "take picture during video option".

That screenshot is from my backed up AOKP.  I used the GAPPs from GOO.  Try flashing a normal GAPPs package, not the ones that are posted in the OP, and see if you get the options.

that very well could be it.... i'll have to look into that this evening.  thanks for the tip.  although, I would not expect the camera to be part of the GApps package...

Installed 7/9 build. One thing I noticed immediately is that the camera app has the normal settings back, so that is good. However, I do not see the option to post pics to picasa nor a sync option under my Google account. Is there a way to force this setting?
Thanks!

Rik, which theme are you using? I'm usually a big fan of black and red. I've tried a couple but aside from the red better bean haven't found one I like. Yours looks nice.
