So I decided to try out this ROM. Only problem I have is when i try to install an APK file it reboots instead of installing. Need to install some APKs so please fix this so I can use this ROM

Edit: Did not have this issue when using CM10.1 Nightly without Orion update. Also Marxman, can you post MD5 sums for the nightlies you post?

Edit 2: Also reboots when installing app from market instead of actually installing.

I've installed apps through TiBu and market without any issues. Let me take a step back and rethink how I do this. Maybe I'll revert back to the traditional method and keep the update for myself... .
I'm testing different governors now. Once I'm done I'll reconfigure the zip files. Pulling the update zip for now.

If anyone wants to test when I'm done pm me.

I told you I will be back.   I am re downloading the gapps ( I just discovered the magic of chechsum MD5 ) and will be flashing this shortly, with CWM..fingers crossed. 

 

 

Ok flash completed. Let everything settle, and everything is good (except for the CM.10.1 bugs) I'm at work so had not had time to play around much, installing Titanium back up to restore my apps.

I had to look this up for developer for developer option, just go into settings tap build number several times and it will bring up dev options

I am using your last ROM here in Europe on GSM. Everything seems working so far beside signal indicator that is grey all the time (so it seems it is out of signal & not working).

 

I guess that the reason for non-working video calls in Skype is one of bugs in the CM10.1.

Not sure if this will help signal but try changing your settings in Wireless & networks -> mobile networks -> network mode, to something with GSM. Play around with the other settings too. Read that somewhere, don't know if it will help but you could try it.

As far as video not working that's because their is no camera preview. That's one of the bugs in cm10.1

Been playing around with this for a while off and on, and it feels a little choppy/laggy. 

I have tried govenor at Max 1.5 GHZ  Min 810 MHZ, the 1.5 and 1.0GHZ and now its maxed out 1.5GHZ Max/Min. Razr running warm as expected.

 

Going to flash something else, and wait for the next update.....Yes! My name is Alex and I am an Addict.  :  :  :  :

Some of the governors definitely have some lag. I may need to adjust the scaling for this device. I also noticed I get screen flashes with the conservative based ones. Definitely needs some fine tuning. I'm busy until Sunday, but I'll some things along the way.

I compiled the nightly - no camera preview and still boot flash.

Awesome thanks Brandon. Which governors have the lag issue? Some oc'ing would be nice to test with..not sure how much it is needed.

There is no USB connection. Plug up phone via USB and get no connection. Anyone else with this problem?

 

Which governer and i/o scheduler seems to be the best for this?
