I recently unlocked my bootloader and installed TWRP recovery.  Prior to those additions, I had safestrap 3.12 installed with the Energy ROM on my stock slot.

I would like to now uninstall safestrap.  I tried via the app, but nothing came up.  So I uninstalled it via the app manager.  However, when I reboot, I still get the safestrap screen (although it does say that safestrap is disabled).  I found other threads online about this, and the one of the suggestions was to disable it via the advanced recovery menu.  However, I did not see that option.

any help please?

thanks!

edit: sorry, meant to post this to the HELP section.

Well deleting the app via app manager won't do anything but remove the app itself, not the safestrap hijack. Reinstall the safestrap app and try "uninstall recovery" from within the app itself again. You will have to grant root permission since you uninstalled it then reinstalled. If that doesn't work we may need to wipe the system on your phone to get rid of it, so let me know if reinstalling the app and unistalling recovery works.

I think I had someone re-install the app to try and uninstall recovery and it did not work. I'm thinking a fastboot is your best option.

Yeah Im leaning more towards that but figured it reinstalling the app worked then it would be an easier fix lol.

Reinstalled the app and realized that supersu was not installed. So I redownloaded supersu, reinstall SS, and was able to uninstall SS successfully.
Thx for the replies.
