If I was you, I would be 100% stock. Fast boot back to 181. Do not take a chance on something going wrong and ahh snap, you bricked

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.


You won't brick if you're not completely stock. The update will fail.

This phone is %100 virgin .181 so I should be able to just load thru recovery?

I would root then ota root keeper then temp unroot and load 181. Make sure super user is up to date.

I have Moto Razr....I will cut you.

So from this pdf it os saying fw update .211 but wonder if it is what we are getting.

If it does it will probably go to soak testers first. Maybe sometime next week for the rest if its true. Don't hold your breath, lol.

Am I correct in that the difference between installing the .211 leak and getting it OTA is that with the OTA you get to keep your data on your phone? With installing the leak, you have to wipe everything. I wouldn't think that Moto would wipe their customers phones and expect them to install all of their apps again. Half of them are going to just wake up with an update ready, hit the button, and expect life to continue as it always has. If they find their phones wiped, most of them have no idea what their gmail password is, let alone resoring apps and data... In my eyes, THAT is the reason to get it OTA rather than flash the same level of OS. Am I wrong?
