Hello everyone,

I just got my CDMA Droid Maxx yesterday, coming from an old and well-loved HTC Droid Incredible. With all the talk of Verizon probably getting rid of unlimited data during upgrades (thus killing the "grandfather" plan), I figured I needed to upgrade as soon as I cound to ensure I can keep my precious data. I'm a Windows software developer by day, but starting to begin some Android development in my spare time. Phone is already rooted and running the AXI0M AOKP ICS ROM and I'm really enjoying it so far. Only thing I'm really noticing so far is how much hotter this thing is running then my Inc did. I definitely cannot imagine going back to 3g after 4g though haha. Hope to learn a lot here and hopefully help others too.

Welcome. Phone can run a little warm but that could be normal. There's an app that can monitor phone temp. Seems to work pretty good.
