You can set up a Smart Action to turn off mobile data anytime you are connected to WiFi.

Only downside to that is you won't receive any picture messages with that off.

Having awful battery life on .206 - Can somebody tell me if you get more than 2 hours of display life surfing web/text (no gps or movies)? I only have display on second lowest brightness (almost dim) and also have Display Power Saver on, too. Thanks

Running .206 since Friday with Wi-Fi, GPS, data, Bluetooth and auto brightness all on just to see how much I can get out of this beast and so far it seems better than stock GB. I use the phone all day and never hunting for a charger. Most of the time I take off charger at 5:00-5:30 am and don't plug back up till 10:00-10:30 pm.

Can you do me a huge favor and check later tonight before you plug in and go to Settings, Battery, and click on Screen. I can't seem to go more than 2 friggin hours. Thanks!

Anyone having issues with incoming calls, on .206? Twice so far today, my phone has started vibrating for about the first 5-6 seconds of an incoming call, before the ringer itself kicks in, and then it doesnt let me even answer. The first time I did manage to get to answer after a few additional seconds, the last call this happened on, about 5 minutes ago, didn't allow me to answer at all, and the phone kind of froze up -- granted, on this last call, the battery was only at like 4% and died about 30 seconds after, the call earlier today, battery was around 30%.

When I upgraded to .206 I did a hard reset (cleared everything) so it'd be as close to "clean" as can be. I'm not rooted, and I don't have any oddball software installed, I'm guessing it can just be attributed to the fact that this is a leak, but I hadn't read about anyone else having issues with calls, so figured I'd see if anyone is/was.

If it matters, I am (well, was) using the PIN feature to unlock the device, I just disabled it, and have it on the charger, and just set it to "slide" to unlock (w/ no PIN), so maybe this will help, but I've gotten calls w/o an issue with the PIN lock before (while running .206) so IDK.

Haven't had that issue boxermansr. You may want to try reloading .206 if hard reset didn't work.

I'm letting it charge right now, will see if it does it again today/tomorrow. If it does, I'll do a hard reset. I'm not sure if I can re-flash .206 on top of itself (dont see why not). I just wish Moto would already release something.

Are you on a Maxx?

60% battery left 16 hrs 18 min 05 sec since last charge with 4 hrs 56 min screen on time.

I was busy today so not exactly my typical usage which usually has me down to 40% by 10:00-10:30

Have you tried completely wiping everything and do a fresh install?

I moved from .79 to .206 wiping everything and no restoring old apps through Titanium or ROM Toolbox because on my old phone (HTC Thunderbolt) if I did I always had issues.

Are you on a Maxx?

No, just regular RAZR.

Crap, tell me you are on MAXX lol!

I definitely need to wipe and reinstall if you are not on MAXX...

"ICS Upgradeable" just means they will update it to ICS. It doesn't mean YOU can do it.

download but it looks like we need a process to install it. Unless it's a stock .181 phone.

I'm tempted to download it, since I just got a maxx w/ .181, guess I'll wait to see if matt chimes in to say if its safe or not.
